Air Fryer Chicken Strips

We're giving you a taste of the south with this delicious (but healthy!) air fryer chicken tender recipe.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. raw chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp. yellow mustard
  • ¾ cup fine almond flour
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground paprika

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breast dry with paper towels; cut into 2-inch strips. Set aside.

  2. Add egg and mustard to a small mixing bowl; whisk to combine. Pour into a gallon-sized, resealable plastic bag; add chicken. Seal bag; toss chicken in bag to evenly coat.

  3. Add almond flour, pepper, and paprika to bag; reseal. Massage chicken until evenly coated.

  4. Arrange chicken tenders in air-fryer basket.

  5. Bake at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown, or a thermometer inserted in the center of one reads 165° F.
