Triple Chocolate Protein Balls

Try this chocolate peanut butter ball recipe for a high-protein snack that you can eat on-the-go!

Ingredients

  • 10 pitted deglet noor dates
  • ¾ cup all-natural peanut butter
  • 3 scoops Ladder Whey or Plant Protein, Chocolate
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup + 1 tsp. unsweetened cacao powder divided use
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup cacao nibs

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.

  2. Place dates, peanut butter, Ladder Protein, almond flour, ¼ cup cacao powder, and extract in a food processor (or high-power blender); pulse, scraping down sides as needed, until a smooth dough forms.

  3. Fold in cacao nibs.

  4. Using clean hands, shape mixture into 20 walnut-sized balls; place on prepared baking sheet.

  5. Sprinkle protein balls evenly with remaining 1 tsp. cacao powder.

  6. Refrigerate balls for at least 20 minutes, or until firm.

  7. Serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

  • Dough may be slightly crumbly; lightly pack together with dry hands and gently roll into balls between your palms.
  • For best results, use a sifter or fine mesh sieve to lightly dust protein balls with cocoa powder.
