Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. unsweetened matcha powder
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. finely grated lemon peel (lemon zest)

Instructions

  1. Combine almond milk, ice, lemon juice, matcha powder, honey, and peel in a blender; cover. 

  2. Blend until smooth.

Recipe Notes

  • Unsweetened matcha powder is easily found online, in the grocery store by the tea and coffee or the Asian foods aisle, or at an Asian supermarket.
  • Look for matcha powders with only matcha as the ingredient, as some can be pre-sweetened.
