The chocolatey flavor in this recipe comes from cocoa powder found in the Openfit Plant-Based Protein Shake, which perfectly balances the natural nutty flavor of the pecans. The dates provide a delightful caramel flavor, and then a dash of cinnamon is all you need to round out the flavor! And if you’re not a fan of rice milk you can swap it with whatever non-dairy milk you have on hand (though it will change the nutritional info).
