Oatmeal with Apples, Pecans, and Cinnamon

Oatmeal is one of the best ways you can start your day. Since oatmeal is full of fiber, it will help keep you full and satiated through to lunch. This recipe for Oatmeal with Apples, Cinnamon, and Pecans is a great way to switch up your standard oatmeal routine. Softly cooked apples provide a hint of sweetness, there’s crunchiness from the pecans, and cinnamon offers a cozy touch just in time for fall.

If you find yourself rushed in the mornings, it can help to batch cook this oatmeal recipe the night before. That way you can simply reheat what you need the next day – and you won’t need to turn on the stove (if you don’t want to). You could also go one step further and divide the oatmeal up into portable, single serve containers. If you’re running late, it’ll allow you to grab a container to take into work. Desk breakfast has never felt so good!
