Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte Ingredients

  • ¼ cup filtered water
  • ½ Tbsp. matcha powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened oat milk
  • ¼ scoop LADDER Vanilla Whey Protein
  • 8 drops liquid monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 cup ice

Green tea gets a lot of lip service for its health benefits, but matcha does it one better. Since matcha is powered and you consume the whole leaf, you get more of a powerful antioxidant called epigallocatechin gallate, or EGCG for short.

This iced latte is light on calories but balances all three macros; those qualities make it a solid option before a morning workout or as a mid-morning pick-me-up. The caffeine can help in both of these situations, as a serving of matcha boasts more caffeine than other teas and almost as much as a cup of coffee.

The matcha should blend easily with the oat milk, LADDER Vanilla Whey Protein, and monk fruit sweetener with a quick stir, but if it doesn’t, don’t worry. Just use a handheld frother or whisk to blend things a little bit more (or create more foam if that’s your favorite part of a latte).
