The Last Green Protein Smoothie Recipe You'll Ever Need

Ever make a green smoothie that tastes, well, a little too green? You’re not alone. Thankfully, it is possible to get a serving of greens in a smoothie that actually tastes good, too.

This green protein smoothie — which can be made with Ladder Whey Protein or Ladder Plant Protein — is all about balance. Yes, it’s packed with nutrients (like 27 grams of protein to support muscle gain and sports performance), but it’s also crave-worthy, so you’ll look forward to sipping it after a workout.

Get 26 grams of muscle-building protein in each serving of Ladder Whey Protein. Check out all the Ladder supplements here!

Like our chocolate blueberry protein shake, this protein green smoothie starts with a base of creamy almond milk, then adds frozen mango and banana to thicken and sweeten it naturally. Plus, that dynamic fruity duo gives your smoothie a tropical vibe that perfectly balances the greens. A generous handful of baby spinach adds a serving of greens (and a vibrant hue). And a serving of Ladder Superfood Greens is the real secret weapon, adding high-quality plant-based ingredients, rich with vitamins and minerals. Just one serving a day helps fill gaps in an ordinary diet.*

That avocado might sound like a surprising addition, but it adds a rich creaminess along with healthy fats.

Here’s how to make our green protein smoothie. Want a chocolate green shake recipe? We’ve got you — and it’s vegan!
