Ingredients for Double Chocolate Protein Mug Cake
You’ll need:
- ½ large banana
- ¼ cup unsweetened soy milk
- ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 scoop Openfit Plant-Based Nutrition Shake
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cacao nibs, divided
- Nonstick cooking spray
Half a banana adds sweetness, texture, and some potassium to this protein mug cake. You’ll also add a scoop of Openfit Plant-Based Nutrition Shake, which is naturally sweetened with stevia and monkfruit, plus some cacao nibs for an extra chocolate-y kick.
To bake, coat a mug with cooking spray, pour in your batter, sprinkle cacao nibs on top, and microwave for two minutes. (If you don’t have a microwave, you can also bake it in an oven-safe mug or ramekin.) The result: a protein-packed snack that’ll satisfy your sweet tooth without a bunch of added sugars. Double Chocolate Protein Mug Cake
Indulging yourself has never been healthier with this protein-packed chocolate mug cake with no added sugar!
Ingredients
- 1/2 large banana
- 1/4 cup unsweetened soy milk
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 scoop Openfit Plant-Based Nutrition Shake
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cacao nibs divided use
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions

Use a fork to mash banana in medium bowl. Add soy milk and extract; whisk to combine.

Add Openfit Plant-Based Nutrition Shake, baking powder, and 1 tsp. cacao nibs; mix well. Sprinkle the remaining 1 tsp. cacao nibs on top.

Lightly coat medium mug with spray; pour mixture into mug.

Microwave on high for 2 minutes, or until fluffy. Serve immediately.
